I have been beekeeping since 1999. I started off working for my brothers as the ‘bee handler’ for their business where the focus was pollination. I was always passionate about learning the art of producing quality queens, and over the years I have been developing and perfecting the skill. I have a Bachelors of Science, in Environmental Science and a minor in Biology from California State University, Sacramento. In 2012, I started my own enterprise where I plan to produce and sell quality queens. I currently maintain about 3,500 colonies located in and around Colusa and Glenn Counties, in Northern California. On April of 2012, I sold my first queens to Ohio, Utah, Pennsylvania, Oregon and Florida.
